Hi guys, here's any whacky idea that I conceived awhile back. 'That's' cards are not exactly difficult to find in the market today, but I haven't seen much play thus far. Maybe it's a cheap win, maybe it doesn't sound fun. But to hell with that, BFM will show you how it's done!
To me, the worst part about winning with That's It is getting to the Fort, as well as finding them in the first place. 7F is the magic number as it could get you to That's Balanced, which will satisfy the requirement for That's It for 7 That's in the ring. After which is the climbing to 30F. Therefore, BFM comes into play with his ability to get me enough Fort. Here's the deck list with explanation at the bottom. Here goes!
BFM/Neutral/Cheater/That's Value
Backlash (20)
Pre-match (10)
*That's Value x 2 - In case 1 get's discarded somehow. (eg Snot Rocket)
*Old School Manager
*WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Title - Just to try and go first
*The Champ Is Here
*It's Time For A Great American Bash x 3 - Going Bash is purely just to enter into the 3F range for Bulldog Takedown TB
My Sacrifice
Born Of Hellfire
Mid-match (10)
When You Thought x 2
Backlash
Graceful
Introduce Your Brain To Your Mouth
Brothers Till The End
Road To Victory
Really, That's Enough
That's Sub-Optimal x 2
The idea is to play That's Value and pick up those marked with # below. I usually find 3 Bulldog Takedown TB, 3 DDT TB, 2 Comeback TB and 2 Cockscrew DDT. This will ensure that you will have maneuvers to play right off the bat. If you sense that your opponent will play The Champ Is Here, go straight to playing the 3 It's Time For A Great American Bash to get enough Fort to play Bulldog Takedown TB on the first turn. Always find Comeback TB x 2 for the That's Value part as that card would either help you to reuse your maneuvers or get your opponent's Fort down. Nothing fancy about the Mid-match, just that there are 3 That's cards in there. Since Bash is weak to Trademarks, When You Thought is there as final protection if your superstar-specific reversals are exhausted.
Arsenal (60)
Maneuvers (14)
German Suplex TB x 3
#Bulldog Takedown TB x 3
#Cockscrew DDT TB x 3
#DDT TB x 3
Hellfire Chokeslam TB
Kane's Tombstone Piledriver
Action (18)
#Comeback TB x 2
That's Balanced x 3
That's Broken x 3
That's... Something x 2
That's It x 2
Candice: Internet Icon x 3
Out Of Hellfire
Chains Of Destruction
In The Presense Of The Kanenites
Reversals (28)
Revo x 3
Elbow
Return Bash For Scotty's Worm x 3
Lift A Boot TB
Overshot Your Mark
There Are 2 Things
No Chance In Hell TB x 2
Sidewalk Slam TB
Spinebuster TB
Powerslam TB
Indian Deathlock
Death Valley Driver
Get The F Out x 2
I Gotta Say, Outta Play
Hold The Phone
Let's Wrestle Already
Don't Try This At Home
Divine Intervention
Masked Vengeance
Tori Enters The Fray
Kane's Return
Big Enough To Eat Somebody
The maneuver base is basically from the That's Value list with the inclusion of the German to build more Fort. The idea would be to go straight into Bulldog Takedown TB on the first turn to get your 7F. Since it can only be reversed from hand and arsenal and BFM's ability restricts it to Backlash and arsenal, the maneuver can only be reversed from arsenal. The next card is really dependent on the hand. If there is a That's Balanced, go ahead and use it. But if you do not have it, there is no harm trying to go for another Bulldog Takedown TB for a total of 14F, opening up everything in the deck except for the trademarks, Brothers, some painful reversals, and That's It. A great way to search for That's cards is through the ACE of That's... Something. However, you are also more likely to draw out That's cards as well. Since 10 cards have already been put under That's Value, your chances of drawing into 1 That's Balanced or That's.. Something (5 in total) reduced from 5/60 to 5/50. With your starting hand at 8 and 1 draw segment, there is a 90% chance you will draw into 1 of them on your first turn. From there, just scratch your way through to 30F and pull off That's It for the win.
Overall it was a fun deck. That's cards are very standard, but how you pull them off is a totally different thing. Of cause, there are certain bad-match ups against them. LOTP will just keep removing your That's cards while LOTEA will make sure you have 0hand. Christian with his Shades also meant that your actions will never get through 90% of the time with Tomko in his ring. But there is a certain kick to it when you pull it off, especially when it doesn't see play so often. Thanks for reading and I hope it sheds some light on 'That's' and hopefully you can give them a try!
Till next time, thanks for reading and have a nice day!
