Pre-match: Drop everything in order. First card for any deck should always a 'Corner' card 'cause its universally unique. Original Hardcore Legend adds my logo to ECW Originals that allows me to start first. Legendary Hardcore Icon ignores the discard on the ECW title. Use ECW Title to search for Steel Steps and Chain Lashing, or anything else that your hand might lack. This is not really crucial because your drawing power should more or less build up your hand by the 2nd or 3rd turn. The crucial part of the deck is Original Hardcore Legend. Here's the text (important part bolded):
Revolution Original Hardcore Legend (Terry Funk logo)
Pre-match: Event
Your Pre-match Capacity is +2. Revolution ECW Originals gains your logo.
Do not discard cards for Revolution ECW World Title Belt. Your first non-Unique Extreme Core each turn can only be reversed by D:0 reversals.
When packing this card, you may pack cards as if you are a Legend, but you do not count as a Legend.
Unique Permanent ECW logo
Therefore, your cores are protected from cards such as Judo Takedown or Old School!. With this card, late game would see both colossal maneuvers as well as core maneuvers running over your opponent.
In game: Using OHL, hit with extremes over and over again until they stick. The secret tech of the deck lies in the the backlash by making use of Spinning Kick, and Legendary Hardcore Icon (LHI) to keep reusing Spinning kick till it sticks.
<Revolution> Legendary Hardcore Icon (Terry Funk logo)
Pre-match Event
Your opponent's maneuvers are -1D and they are not affected by his modifiers that increase damage.
Once during each of your turns: put 1 Mid-match maneuver from your Ringside into your Backlash; when that card is a Colossal, end your turn.
Unique ECW logo Permanent
Once you have fort, try to hit your colossals as they are all hand reducing. Steel chain shots allows you to drop 2 cards in his hand if reversed from hand or backlash while Drive Opponent Through Announcer's Table forces all players to put 3 cards at the bottom of the arsenal when reversed from anywhere. With strong draw power, Terry shouldn't be affected too much by this card effect. Late game would see the use of more Extreme: Cores which would do around 10D or more each. The corner is just there because Smacked With The Sledge Hammer is such a strong reversal, and King of King Pedigree further adds to the discard theme.
Overall, a very good deck for beginners. The additional draw power gives the player more options, while the added damage and the pre-match cards helps to facilitate Fort growth easily.
Till next time, happy Revolutionizing!
