INTRODUCTION
Welcome to yet another revo article. This week, we are taking a look at the 3 cards mentioned in I’ve Brought Some Back Up Just In Case. There isn't much to go into so we shall keep this short and sweet. For ease of reading, I would be referring Cade™ & Murdoch™: Staunchest Rednecks as 'Cade', Montel Vontavious Porter™: Privileged Warhead as 'MVP' and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan™: Harmful Flashback as 'Hacksaw'.
In general, the 3 antics each possess very strong effects which range from discarding to removing cards from opponent’s Ring. However, they have requirements to have certain targets in Ring which are hard to achieve. That obstacle was lifted when I Brought Back Up Just In Case was introduced in VR4. With the new Pre-match, players can now ignore those requirements and have an easier time playing those cards. While the Pre-match does give you a bonus on all 3 cards, it is not necessary for you to run all 3 in your deck. The theme of your deck would largely dictate which Antic would suit your deck the most.
While Cade gives a more general effect, both MVP and Hacksaw have target specific text which could be abused.
Cade™ & Murdoch™: Staunchest Rednecks
Cade makes your opponent discard 3 cards and allows you to draw 4. Effectively, it is to increase your handsize while decreasing your opponent. A good superstar that can benefit from this card is Sabu. As seen from his ability, his focus is to reduce his opponent's handsize with a cost of 1 card from his hand. Cade not only allows him to replenish his hand, but to further decrease his opponent's hand. The extra draw for Sabu would be good since he is able to pick up more cards, other than just the Assault that he has put on the top of his arsenal from Suicidal-Homicidal-Genocidal. Other than that, this card is just for general use and if you lack drawing power, you can consider packing this Cade.

Montel Vontavious Porter™: Privileged Warhead
With a higher Fort cost, MVP grants better effects. The first effect grants you a more specific discard from opponent's hand. The effect allows you to look at your opponent hand, which immediately benefits superstars that have the choice to search for a variety of cards, or to change a maneuver to a certain type. Superstars like Tommy Dreamer and Dolph Ziggler would benefit from this card the most since they are able to change the typing of their maneuver.
Superstars like Triple H and The Great Khali would have a better idea of what maneuver to search for after having knowledge of opponent's hand. The second effect is target specific as it allows you to search for up to 2 Head Maneuvers. Since it is not specified, it is possible to search out for your trademarks as well, something not many cards can do. With that in mind, Superstars like Triple H, Big Show and Chris Jericho can search out for their respective trademarks, some of which might also double as reversals. This can also be said for any superstar if they pack the correct corners.

"Hacksaw” Jim Duggan™: Harmful Flashback
Lastly at the highest Fort of 16, Hacksaw provides an effect that is hard to come by in Revo and that is to remove cards from your opponent's Ring. There are only a handful of cards that can allows you to remove something from your opponent's Ring and this happens to be one of them. The general use of this card is very effective, especially if you are going up against opponents who base their decks on storylines or certain Pre-match. Without those backbones, the deck would crumble. Therefore, 3 copies of this card would give you a decisive advantage over your opponent. The second effect also provides a strong support for Back themed decks. Although there are cards like Look Under The Ring and Toys Under The Ring which have lower Fort, you can always treat the second effect as a bonus since 16F to remove any 2 cards from opponent's Ring in revo is already worth it. A good maneuver to consider when using Hacksaw and MVP is Powerbomb since it is a Back itself, but its effect includes Head. With proper planning and the correct use of the two Antics, you can make full use of the effect.
CONCLUSION
With that, we have come to the end of yet another Revo article. As you might have noticed, I managed to get the virtual card pictures up here (sorry for taking so long), so for the next week or so, I will be slowly updating the older articles. Therefore, the next article would be up 2 weeks from now. As usual, feel free to leave any comments of feedback in the comment section and we will look into them in the future!
Till next time, thanks for reading and have a nice day!
