Such an apt tourney name. Two for The Show. This Big Show indeed came in number 2 after winning 2 rounds and losing by count-out in the last match. Thus far, most Revo decks have been aggressive due to the aggressive nature of format (aggression rule). Therefore, many decks run maneuvers that are meant to kill. This Big Show, however, is made to sponge. The general tactic involved is very simple and can be applied to almost any superstar. However, what tips the scale towards Big Show is his ability to turn colossals into being reversible as though they are Cores. This means that his Core reversals will have dual roles now. Here's his ability followed by the deck list:
THE BIG SHOW
Starting Hand Size: 7 Superstar Value: 5
Superstar Ability: Your opponent’s 15D+ maneuvers can be reversed by 2D- cards as if they were printed 2D Cores of the same type.
He cannot play reversals to your Mountain of a Man.

As you can see, all my non-hybrid maneuvers are non-0F Cores less my superstar-specific, which means that they will all benefit from Hardcore Hell, which is extremely important to this deck. It will help to ensure that the effects of my Cores will successfully take place.
Hardcore Hell
Pre-match: Event
If your Fortitude is less than your opponent: your first non-F:0 Core of this turn cannot be reversed from his hand.
Therefore, my manuevers are there solely to recover my cards. Dealing damage is secondary. The idea is to get behind Fort by playing your 0F2D maneuver/reversal hybrids, or allowing the first move of your opponent to be successful. From there, try to stay behind the Fort curve to benefit from Hardcore Hell. The objective of this deck is to reverse all his maneuvers from your arsenal, causing his maneuvers to be stuck in his ring. Although unorthodox, the only reversals that this deck plays from hand are the Superstar-Specific maneuver reversal hybrids as they will do heavy damage. Other than that, try not to use any reversals from hand. When they are drawn, use cards like Armbar Takedown and Bear Hug to put them back to your arsenal. Slowly but surely, he will run out of maneuvers to play. Either that or you would have drawn into Knock Out Punch or Smacked With The Sledgehammer that will ensure your victory. As Knockout Punch reverses any Core and Smaked reverses any Mean or Colossal, having this 2 cards in hand means that your opponent will definitely eat at least 1 of them or end up overturning 6 cards for the aggression rule.
That said, this deck's tactics solely focus on 1 card, which is Hardcore Hell. If you are able to pluck that card away from the Ring, the deck will fail to recover as smoothly as it should. Still, the 2 SS hybrid reversals are a force to reckon with, and will usually ensure your victory. Hope it helps to shed some light on sponging in Revo.!
Till next time, thanks for reading!
