INTRODUCTION
Welcome to another revo article! As the title suggests, we are taking a closer look at the 8 title belts playable in this format today (6 from classic revo and 2 from virtual revo). Each belt gives different effects that could help certain tactics. Combo them together with the suggested cards and you will definitely have a head start in the game. The added superstar values are usually just added bonuses as there aren’t any cards in the game that interact with your SSV other than being able to start the game first. For easier reference, each belt will be split into 2 sections: Recommended tactic and recommended superstars. Hopefully this will act as a guide to put those belts to better use. And just in case you are wondering the price of each title, they are about S$10 to S$15 for the classic belts while the last 2 belts are virtual that can only be won via tournaments held locally. To put it in simpler terms, I'm just trying to say that revo is very affordable and easy to get into. Anyway as usual, let’s get it on!
WWE
Intercontinental Title Belt
Recommended Tactic: This card basically allows you to draw cards to add to your hand. Unless you are tied in SSV and you are hell-bent on starting first, I would suggest that you choose the first option to draw 2 cards. This is especially important for superstars that have small handsize or if your ability requires constant discarding. As mentioned in previous articles, maintaining a sizable handsize is important to most Revo decks as it decreases the chance of you having no maneuvers to play (leading to aggression rule) and increases the chance of you having applicable reversals. This card goes well with cards like The Degenerates that allows more drawing, or cards like Kelly Kelly Expose or ECW Title that requires discard.
Recommended Superstars: First off, Santino’s Pre-match interacts with this card by granting an extra Pre-match slot for each card with Intercontinental or United States in the title. Coupled with his small handsize, it only makes more sense to pack this. Superstars like Ric Flair and Non-storyline Austin would need those extra cards to pump up their small hand while superstars like Marcus CorVon and Kofi Kingston who constantly requires discard to activate their ability could get some initial damage control from this card.
WWE Heavyweight Title Belt
Recommended Tactic: Similarly, I would suggest the first option to make your opponent discard 2 cards. Coupled with Attitude Adjusters (forces opponent to discard 1 random card) and Your Chance In Line Light, your opponent would have to drop a minimum of 3 cards from his hand. The better flow would be to play Heavyweight Title first to force opponent to discard his most unwanted cards of his choice, leaving his more important cards in his hand. When you follow up by cards that force random discards, it will force him to drop some of his key cards in his starting hand.
Recommended Superstar: Basing on the card Your Chance In Limelight and this title, Chris Jericho would benefit the most. His ability allows him to draw 1 card during your opponent’s draw segment. Therefore, it is recommended that his opponent start first. Your Chance In Limelight comes in to force your opponent to start first and discard 1 random card. Run Heavyweight Title, Too Extreme and 2 Limelights and your opponent will have 4 cards lesser in his hand by the start of his first turn. Another superstar that could benefit from this title is Kurt Angle. His ability forces his opponent to discard 1 card first before being able to his throws and extremes. Forcing early discard would mean that your opponent might not have enough hand to reverse your maneuvers pass the 2nd or 3rd turn.
WWE United States Title Belt
Recommended Tactic: Generally, this card does not have much impact on most superstars. The only 3 superstars that would see this card be in effect is against Santino, Terry Funk and Brock Lesnar when they all have cards revolving around title belts. Other than that, you might consider packing other titles or Pre-match instead.
Recommended Superstar: There isn’t a specific superstar that will benefit from this card, but here’s a list of superstars that have SSV 0 and SSV 1 that have higher chances of playing this card. Do take note that Santino's Pre-match interacts with this card so he could probably pack this card.
SSV: 0
SSV 1:
WWE Championship Title Belt
Recommended Tactic: This card is best used as the first card. Therefore, when you reveal your hand, it's only the initial hand. If you go on to play Intercontinental title or other cards that let you draw cards, your opponent would not know what other cards you have. This card is also good for fishing out a specific maneuver from your deck. An example would be to have a Back-themed deck, but you might require Scissors Hold (0F6D Hold:Core Neck) to be in your hand as start Fort. Therefore, this card would ensure that you will satisfy the requirement to get the Neck maneuver in your hand (since there will not be any other Necks in your deck). This tactic also helps to save space in your deck as you would only need 1 F:0 in your deck (Scissors Hold) since that card can be recycled. But this is for another article.
Recommended Superstar: A non-storyline Austin would compliment this card well. His ability allows the re-drawing of his hand. Therefore, once you get your first card through, you can use your ability to change up your hand and your opponent would have 0 knowledge of what you have in your hand. Elijah Burke also benefits from this card as his ability partially allows him to refresh his hand.
ECW World Title Belt
Recommended Tactic: As the text suggests, this card works well for extremists or for superstars that run Extremes. The cost of the discarding could be negated with the use of Dressed For Success that allows you to put 1 card from your Ringside to your hand. Therefore if you were to play the above, you should drop the title first to discard 2, then play Dressed For Success to pick up the card(s) that you just discarded. But do take note that the cards searched cannot be cores. Therefore, the next lowest F extreme you can find is Flying Tope (follow-up) at 4F(or 3F if you are extremist) or Garbage Can or Steel Steps at 6F (or 5F if you are extremists). Alternatively, you can also go hard on Colossals if you think you have no problem getting the initial F to play them. Extreme Colossals start at 11F (Missile Dropkick) but is a follow-up.
Recommended Superstar: Terry Funk's Pre-match interacts with the title by negating the discarding effect. That's one. Another superstar that can benefit from this title is Kevin Thorn. His ability requires Extremes in his Ringside to activate. Therefore, the discard 2 will fuel his ability while the title will negate the lack of handsize. Lastly, Kofi Kingston could possible put this to good use. Even though he might not be an Extremist, his ability allows the negating of follow-up requirements. That means that he is able to discard 1 extreme that he picked up from the title and play the other extreme. Once that is successful, he is able to pick up the extreme that he has just discarded.
WWE Cruiserweight Title Belt
Recommended Tactic: In all honesty, this card is terribly useless in Revo format. The sole card that will be affected by this title is Hardcore Hell. That's right. 1 card in the entire game. No kidding. There is no other non-unique card in the format that is affected by this card, be it Pre-match, Mid-match or arsenal cards. In my opinion, this card was created in a bid to strengthen the link between classic and revo cards. If played in All Axxess format, this card would be very useful as it negates cards like Pump Kicks, Boot Laces and Shoot Forearms. But I shouldn't go too deep into AA now. Just know that this card is useless in Revo.
Recommended Superstar: No recommendations since I wouldn't suggest ANYBODY to play this card in Revo format.

Pre-match: Object
Before the Draw Segment of the first turn of the game, put up to 2 cards from your hand on the bottom of your Arsenal and draw the same number of cards; when you have higher Superstar Value, double that number.
Ignore your opponent's card effects that would allow him to start the game.
Your Superstar Value is +5.
Universally Unique
VR-prize
Recommended Tactic: This card is basically a rarer version of A New Plan where you get to refresh your hand. Being able to start first and having SSV +5 are just added bonuses for this card. I word of advice for this card is to only use it as a back up instead of revolving your tactic around this card in case your hand sucked.
Recommended Superstar: I would suggest this card for superstars that generally have small hand in case you do not have maneuvers to play or do not have good starting reversals. Here's a list of superstars with handsize 5 or below. But like I said, it's better if you save the Pre-match slot for something more important.
HS 5 and below:
Elijah Burke (Ability to recycle 1 card in hand and 1 card from ringside to draw 2)
Ric Flair (Storyline allows draw 2)
Santino Marella (Own Pre-match allows draw 1 and put 1 under arsenal)
Austin (Storyline allows draw 3)
Terry Funk (Ability to draw 1 additional card per turn)

Revolution WWE Tag Team Title Belts
Pre-match: Object
Draw up to 1 card and your Superstar Value is +1; when you are a Tag Team, double those numbers and your Pre-match Capacity is +1.
Universally Unique
VR-Prize
Recommended Tactic: There is currently only 1 tag team in Revo and that is Rated RKO. That will change however when virtual 5 comes out. But until then, this card is equally playable for singles superstars or extremists. It's a free card added to your hand since this card increases your Pre-match capacity by 1.
But that said, you are only allowed to pack 6 Pre-match cards as of this writing and some tactics do take up to all 6 cards to play. Therefore, think through your Pre-match before packing them. A draw 1 from this card might not be comparable to something like Climbing The Ladder where you can draw everytime you satisfy its requirement.
Recommended Superstar: As of now, the only superstar that benefits more from this card would be Rated RKO. But always keep a look out for virtual revo 5 where legends and tag teams are confirmed! Will definitely do a separate article for them when they are released.
CONCLUSION
With that, we have come to the end of another revo article. In general, most of the titles are useful and can grant you a headstart in the game. The only titles that I suggest you to forgo are Cruiserweight title and US title. The rest are generally good and commonly seen in tourneys. Like I mentioned in the first article. Title belts are within reach in terms of cost price unless classic belts that cost up to $50. Although its not mandatory to play belts, feel free to dabble around with it. Which superstar doesn't want to hold a belt anyways. As usual, feel free to leave your feedback or queries in the comments section below or PM me and I will try my best to revert as soon as possible!
Until next time, Happy Revolutionizing!
