well this is my idea. 1) Themed tournament. for example: Hardcore Tournament. all players should design their deck on foreign object basis with any superstar of their choice. Then all contestants must not pack stipulation. Only judge will name be able name the stipulation during tournament & the named stipulation is considered played by all players. During the tournament, any period of time while the matches in process. Judge could choose to call out another stipulation. And so the effect of that stipulation takes place from there on. Judge may perform this routine like a roulette wheel. 2) Another way, could follow like world cup. which also depends on the number of players who turns out on that day. Example: Number of players :20 split into 5 groups of 4 & play by point system. 3) Last Man Standing Rule: Every player gets 5 Tokens For 1st round, the player who loses will surrender 1 Token to the winner this 1st round will go on till players with no Tokens gets eliminated. So those with the most Tokens will move on to 2nd round. 2nd round players have to place half of their Tokens on the line. and the game should lead to the finals where by the winner should have claim all of the Tokens Pls feel free to modify my idea, if your interested.

In case Lordfa9 attempts to flame me with regards to the originality of these ideas, the following may have been caricatured elsewhere 1) To engage a wider audience, why not have different classes? perhaps: - Ban decks (Decks listed under the banned list will come under this class) - Women (Female superstar deck?) - Tag team (Team of two?, what more to say) - Smackdown VS Raw - Heel Vs face (sorry kurt you are neither here nor there ) - fans favourite Vs cheater These are just some rough ideas. Fine-tuning would be required. Its more about having fun rather than the prizes. Don't have to worry too much about having great prizes to attract players. Can you dig it? Regards, Sucker®

Team play can actually be a good idea! I rmb there use to be a east meet west tourney but someone gave up the idea because of the lack of interest. So I'm thinking we can do this again with raw and smack down, heel and face as well. In this way, we will have a group of winners instead of one winner! Opening up more opportunities for the weaker and newer players to win the game!

Why not we let the pros select a team of maybe 5 players, maybe 4 pros can select players into their group(4groups of 5members, including the pro as the leader). then play against one another, see which team has the most points of win? At least the winners are still in groups.

Its good to have teams. For example, each team has 4 members, each member would represent a class for his team. In other words, Team members for example peter, john, Paul, James.
Peter - woman's deck class John - normal class etc etc
Therefore, each team has to have members with different abilities and has to be more balanced.
Can you dig it?

Sucker® but teams have to be formed beforehand so each players can have the specific deck listed, imagine everyone goes there with a male deck, maybe one or two with female only, then this format cannot happen, so we need to form the team beforehand. any ideas to do so?

If everyone agrees on this idea, just have to set a date and destination, whoever is able to attend, just mark attendance.
Appoint a few leaders to choose team mates and plan within the team. (:

Since it's future tournament ideas. I'd say have one where you need to have your opponent overturn enough damage from his arsenal, and then the game proceeds to having to get him to overturn enough damage from his ringside pile to out of game.
What happens is if your opponent had finished overturning all of his arsenal to ringside pile, he shuffle his ringside pile and now the damage he receive will be overturned from ringside pile to out of game.
The game proceeds as per normal where he can still draw card from ringside pile as though it was his arsenal. And when he have cards to recover from ringside to arsenal, it can still be use. I am not familiar with all the new superstar abilities. I believe some restriction should be in place so as not to allow any specific SSA to be overpowered. I believe Andre and Crippler are the 2 that would probably benefit from this. So we can always brainstorm for ideas to make them seemingly less powerful but yet competitive enough to play.
My idea is hatch because I see many deck ideas as reversal centric. Before people consider important actions or manuveurs, they'll want to prioritize their important reversals first. As such, I propose this idea of having to inflict at least 100D to win matches. Deck construction is 60, having to clear twice that number is 120. But there will be approx 20 cards that'd be in ring area and in hand. So I estimate it to be around 20. With the target of 100D before you can win the game convincingly, it would actually discourage people from packing too much reversals as it is now. Of course some players might try to pin, which is still fine. At least we're forcing a different play style instead of playing defensively.
Ultimately, I hate having to win a game when I am just getting my luck of the draw. I want a sweet victory over one that suddenly happen because they couldn't survive a trademark reversal. It should be a game of manuveurs or actions not reversals.

2 cents worth ideas... In my days, we had done many of the following ideas... to bring in different forms of challenge especially when the new players have a fight in the game and not stay out of any tourns held.
make royal rumble- first 2 enter, after the 2 individuals finishes their first turn, the third will enter... repeat till the next enters.
wrestlemania- every enters but all share the fortitude of everyone. last man stands
Tag team tourn- self explanatory
Raw deal draft- make decks on the spot from booster packs with staples cards given out to every individual... winner get to choose the card he wants first and so on...
